Active LogView Publisher Description

Active LogView is the next generation log analysis program. Webmaster can get access to the statistics very quickly as there is no need to download large log files. After the installation, the only thing he/she has to do is type the address of the script in his/her browser, for example: www.softcab.com/cgi-bin/logview.exe. Statistics can be accessed from any computer that is connected to the Internet. No other software is needed. The information is presented in easy-to-read lists. Active LogView provides analysis of total requests, unique visits, advanced referrers list, hourly summary and more. Active LogView can even accumulate statistics by saving it into a small file. Even after you have deleted log files, statistics is still available! Active LogView is a full-featured server-side log analysis program. It has been designed to make it powerful and fast but still as easy as possible to use for both the novice and experienced user alike. Active LogView is the fastest and the most powerful traffic analyzer as it does not require importing the log file to a database - the analysis is performed on the log file itself and not on a database. Importantly, log analysis and reporting are performed in Real-Time and it can Analyze multiple log files. A number of different settings can be changed on-line. For example, background color, text color, page title and others. The included password protection gives only authorized persons access to the administration area. You can also password protect viewing statistics. Active LogView is a 32-bit native application for Windows 2000/NT/95. It is written in C++ for stability, speed, and minimal use of system resources. The Active LogView executable is only 50 kb. Compare that to the footprint of other multi-megabyte log analysis software!
